Covert-Wireless CCTV Cameras, built for the TV series ARROW

ARROW props delivered a few box-style mylar capacitors and CMOS inspection camera heads (4.5 & 5.8mm types).  We were instructed to cut down the cameras (just the ⅜" was used) and install them into a through-hole I would drill into each capacitor.

Initially, we'd left the two pins of the capacitor intact to as they looked like dual antennas, but this was laster rejected in favour of a cleaner look.

To add a little detail, a small cap-screw was installed to suggest that it served as a combination battery chamber cap and power switch.

Finishing simply required the manufacture and installation of a small, round, plastic cap, to cover the remaining hole at the back (made with black coloured plastic sheet, cut via a round gasket punch) and applying slate-grey paint.

Shown prior to paint application, with the "antennas" still intact.
This seemingly simple project was somewhat challenging to accomplish due to the precision involved, and the difficulty in cutting the camera heads down to size (they tended to fall apart!).
