POLAROID Spectra 2 (circa 1994)
POLAROID Spectra 2 features:
- Integrated hand-strap.
- Auto focus enable/disable (to accommodate shooting through glass).
- Flash enable/disable.
- Exposure compensation control ("Lighten / Darken").
- Tripod socket.
- 1:1 close up capability, with the accessory ProCam 1x Lens (high-quality macro photos, with flash illumination).
- Polaroid Spectra Film with integrated alkaline battery.
Compatible Film:
Although the POLAROID company no longer produces it, three types of high-quality SPECTRA film can still be obtained from The Impossible Project:
Film Packaging Reference:
POLAROID Spectra film types "1200, "700", and "Image/Spectra", were the most common types purchased by consumers. The rest were geared toward professionals or artists, and were not commonly available. POLAROID manufactured instant film, is no longer in production.
Additionally, THE IMPOSSIBLE PROJECT's PZ 600 Image/Spectra, PZ 600 UV + Image/Spectra, PZ 680 Color Shade, PZ 600 Silver Shade Cool, are out of production.
At this time, the only film available are THE IMPOSSIBLE PROJECT's "Color Image Spectra" and "B & W" Image Spectra" (only the color version is depicted here).
