C4 Explosive Device with Human Sensor Trigger & Timer For the TV Series ARROW

Notionally, a C4 explosive device that had a sensor/emitter array capable of sensing a human presence and a conventional timed trigger.

Completed prop—cell phone to be later fitted inside the lower housing.

Design Process

The sensor/emitter unit (upper housing) borrowed its basic design from a previous ARROW prop (a"Thermal Cloaking Device") and featured pulsating LED lighting effects.

The lower housing was designed to contain a SAMSUNG mobile phone that had provision for discreet access to both the mini USB connection and "home button". This phone would serve as the device display, and would feature a countdown timer display animation that was provided by the Computer Playback Department.
