  • This device was specifically designed to control and simplify the programming of VCRs (Videocassette Recorders). It was intended to work with a variety of VCR models, including those with built-in TV tuners, and was compatible with "universal brands".


  • Its primary function was to enable users to easily schedule recordings on their VCRs using PlusCodes found in TV listings, which would then automatically control the VCR and, if applicable, change cable channels for recording.
