Description
Circa Mid 1980's to Mid 1990's (ESTIMATED)
A custom-engineered 120 VAC Power Control and Distribution Panel, designed for a specific industrial or laboratory application. Equipment rack mountable.
Use Case:
This panel serves as the central power management interface for a complex system, such as a computer-controlled industrial machine or a laboratory instrumentation suite.
- Sequential Power Control: The "START" and "STOP" buttons, along with status indicators for "LINE POWER READY," "COMPUTER POWER," and "INSTRUMENT POWER," indicate that a specific startup and shutdown sequence is provided.
- Emergency Stop: The prominent red "EMERGENCY STOP" button under a clear flip-cover allows for the immediate total power cutout of the entire system in case of a malfunction or safety hazard. This cover includes provision for switch lock-out when fitted with a padlock.
- Local Power Access: Two standard 120 VAC outlets on the front allow for the easy connection of temporary diagnostic tools or peripheral devices.
- System Protection: Two panel-mount fuse holders (marked "F1") protect the internal circuitry and the "COMPUTER POWER" and "INSTRUMENT POWER" lines from overcurrent.
