EXTENDOFLEX Mounting Pedestal - 3-Joint

A vehicle mounting pedestal featuring a 3-joint, articulated arm and accessory mount—intended for use in heavy-duty environments. Suitable for commercial, public safety and law enforcement applications. Constructed principally from machined aluminum components that are protected by a black anodized finish.

Installation and Adjustment

Once the unit's base has been bolted to the vehicle, the orientation of the articulated arm is manually positioned—then securely locked into place via an internal cable that is tensioned by turning a hex screw located in the base—clockwise. This causes the joints to lock rigidly into the desired position. To reposition, tension must first be released by turning the screw—anticlockwise, then each joint is sharply struck by a plastic or rubber mallet to unlock them.
