AKAI VC-100 (Black & White) Video Camera

The Akai VC-100 was a pioneering black and white video camera, part of a portable system designed to bring video recording to a wider audience. Suitable for amateur use, learning institutions and law enforcement applications (video interviews and evidence gathering).

Features:

• Optical Viewfinder: Equipped with a micro-prism focusing aid for ease of use.

• Zoom Lens: Features an F:1.8 / 10-40mm zoom lens, allowing for flexible framing.

• Integrated Microphone: Includes a built-in microphone for capturing audio alongside video.

• Ergonomic Design: Designed for field use, often with an ergonomic pistol grip for comfortable handling.

• Tripod Compatibility: Features a standard threaded socket for mounting on tripods or other devices (available separately).

• Portability (as part of system): While the camera itself is compact, it was designed to be used with the Akai VT-100 reel-to-reel video tape recorder (available separately), forming a portable video system.
