ALLSOP Video Head Cleaner (8mm Video Cassette)

Use Procedure:

• Preparation: Ensure your 8mm camcorder or VCR is powered on and ready to accept a tape. Apply isopropyl alcohol to the cleaner strip.

• Insert the Cleaning Cassette: Insert the Allsop cleaning cassette into your 8mm camcorder or VCR just as you would a regular 8mm video cassette.

• Initiate Cleaning: Press the PLAY or start/stop button on your device to begin the cleaning process. The cleaning tape will run through the device, cleaning the video heads as it passes.

• Duration: Let the cleaning cassette run for a short duration, typically around 10 seconds.

• Stop Cleaning: Press the STOP button to halt the cleaning process and remove the cassette.

• Test (Optional): After cleaning, you can make a test recording with a standard 8mm tape and play it back to check for improved picture quality. If the image quality is still poor, you may repeat the cleaning process up to three additional times.
