Circa 1988
Originally marketed as an affordable, portable, IBM PC-compatible computer for general office tasks and on-the-go computing.
It was aimed at professionals who needed to work in various locations on tasks such as preparing letters or managing personal budgets away from a main office.
It includes a built-in modem for connectivity, which was a significant feature for a portable device at that time.
