Circa Early 2000's
A custom rigged movie prop featuring simulated functionality.
Before modification, this was a functional variable DC benchtop power supply capable of 0–30V at 0–3A.
The power output has been disabled on this unit and the incorporated Voltage and Amperage meters have been rigged for wired remote control (the red "POWER" LED also illuminates).
This provides off-camera, variable control of the displayed powers levels.
