A specialized, fully programmable point-of-sale (POS) keyboard designed for use with DEC's DECpos systems in retail environments.
Unlike a standard QWERTY keyboard, the keys are arranged and colored for quick access to specific functions related to a cash register or transaction terminal. It also includes a built-in MSR (magnetic stripe reader) that reads credit cards and DECpos employee identification cards.
