Description

Suitable for controlling electric locking devices, security systems, automatic operators or machinery. 2-units available.


Custom Modifications:


This unit has been modified for self-contained, simulated operation. Powered internally, via a 9-volt alkaline battery. Added slim-profile housing serves to contain the battery and facilitates mounting of the keypad unit to any smooth, flat, surface via double-face, self-adhesive tape.


Operation:


User keys in a predetermined numeric/symbol code to cycle the device. This code can be programmed by us, or by the rental client (we will provide detailed instructions for this, or program the unit for you to your specifications). Once programmed the unit operates as follows:


  • Before any code is entered, the RED status indicator is illuminated—LOCKED status.


  • Each keypress produces an audible "chirp" sound from the device This sound can be disabled).


  • Once the last character of the programmed code is entered (if the code entered is correct) the RED indicator goes out, while simultaneously, the GREEN indicator illuminates—UNLOCKED.
