A robust, wireless, remote controlled lamp dimmer—installed into a weatherproof box incorporating a corded plug and triple-tap outlet. Useful for managing practical lighting on set with a combined output of 600 watts (see below).


Features:


  • Clear Connect RF Reliability: Unlike Wi-Fi-based consumer dimmers, LUTRON uses its proprietary 434 MHz frequency. This is critical on a film set crowded with wireless video (Teradek) and follow-focus systems, as it won't suffer from signal interference or dropouts.


  • No Interference with Sound: Caséta dimmers are engineered to be exceptionally quiet and rarely cause the "buzzing" or "humming" in lamp filaments that can ruin a sound take.


  • Multi-Point Control: You can pair multiple Pico remotes to this one rig. One remote can stay with the Gaffer, while another is mounted to the director’s monitor for quick adjustments during a rehearsal.


 Dimmer Compatibility:


  • LEDs: Ensure all connected bulbs are labeled as "Dimmable." Non-dimmable LEDs will flicker, buzz, or may even be damaged when used with this rig.


  • No Motors or Fans: This specific dimmer is designed for lighting only. Do not plug in fans, heaters, or power tools, as inductive loads can destroy the electronic components inside the Caséta unit.
