Multi-Use Radio Transceiver - Black/Yellow (Custom Design - Simulated Operation)

Circa Mid 1980's to Late 1990's

A custom movie prop manufactured by PROPOLOGY.ca featuring simulated functionality. The nondescript design of this device has made it possible to portray it as being applicable in several different use cases:

• Radio Transponder Receiver: A concealed, sensitive, miniature pushbutton is intermittently pressed to flash the green LED indicator—thus simulating reception of a tracking transponder. To depict closing the distance to the transponder, the user gradually increases the number of pulses. When used in this application, the black main power button is left in the off (LED not illuminated) position.

• Covert Listening Device Detector (Bug): Operation is identical to that of a Radio Transponder Receiver, except that the target device is instead a Covert Listening Device.

• Radio Detonator: Provides wireless triggering of explosive ordinance. The user first arms the device by actuating the black power button—causing the green LED indicator to steadily illuminate. Pressing the red pushbutton then triggers the explosive device.

Accessories Available Separately:

• Various Length BNC Mount Antennas (interchangeable with the included antenna).

• BNC Cables (can be used in substitution for the included antenna to provide a wired connection to another device).

• BNC Cable Connected Sensor Head-Units (used in substitution for the included antenna to provide connection of a handheld sensor such as one for nuclear radiation detection—as well as other applications—please inquire).
