Multimodal Scanner/Computer with LCD Display (Custom Design - Simulated Operation)

A custom-manufactured movie prop featuring authentic simulated functionality.

Features:

Notionally equipped with an integrated LCD touchscreen attached to the main body by an articulated arm. In reality, it's a suitably sized cell phone that has been inserted into the display housing

This phone is used to provide the images that portray a working graphical user interface (or any other required images) by way of custom graphical animations that have been uploaded (production-provided). This arrangement yields the ability to precisely tailor the images displayed to suit any scripted purpose and design aesthetic.

Possible Use Cases:

Incorporating a cell phone display allows this device to portray virtually any function necessary for a given script requirement. These include, but are not limited to, the following functions (singularly or in combination):

• RF (Radio Frequency) Scanner: Interception, monitoring, recording, and analysis of voice, data, or image transmissions (digital or analog).

• EM (Electromagnetic) Radiation Scanner: Monitoring, recording, and analysis of EM radiation sources.

• Radio Transponder Scanner: Receives, records, and analyzes multi-channel data streams from transponder transmissions.

• RF Location Tracking: Receives transmissions from RF location tracking devices, providing longitude and latitude coordinates and displaying a constantly updating map showing transponder location.

• Nuclear Radiation Detection and Analysis: Provides tracking, recording, and analysis of single or multiple radiation sources.

• Sample Analysis (Based upon novel imaging technology): Small objects placed on top of the device's main housing (with the articulated display/scanner positioned directly above) are scanned. The displayed image of the object reveals its inner structures (annotated in false colors) as well as a text description of measured characteristics.

• Specialized Field Computer: Used in tactical and I.T. and hacker environments.

Customization:

At a client's request, this prop can be modified to include suitable connections for the attachment of external accessories (available separately) such as:

• Antennas
• Microphones

• External Memory Devices
• Miniature/Folding Keyboard
• Nuclear Radiation Detector Head-Unit
• Scanner Head-Unit
