The Nikon DB-2 Anti-Cold Battery Pack was designed to extend the operating life of the electronics in Nikon SLR cameras in cold weather by providing an external power source that could be kept warm.


DB-2 replaces the two 1.5-volt silver-oxide button batteries (such as SR44 or LR44, also known as 357, A76, AG13, S76) or a single 3V lithium battery (like the CR 1/3N) that power the camera's meter and electronic shutter functions.


The DB-2 is compatible with a range of Nikon manual-focus SLR cameras, including:


  • Nikon F2
  • Nikon F3 (and FM3A)
  • Nikon FA
  • Nikon FM (FM2, FE2, FM3A)
  • Nikon FE
  • Nikon FG
  • Nikon EM
  • Nikon FM10


It is powered by 2-"AA" batteries.

Includes a fitted soft-case.
