- This unit features a common collapsible reflector design that were manufactured in the 1950's to the 1960's.
- It incorporates several metal, inter-leafed reflector segments, that when fanned-out and locked, formed a parabolic reflector—which significantly reduced the flash unit's size for storage and transport.
- Unit does not provide any camera mounting options and must be used hand-held.
