Use Case
The Electrodex Basic was designed to digitally replace a traditional paper index card file, allowing users to store and manage contact information and notes electronically. Key functions included:
- Business Contacts: Storing names, phone numbers, addresses, and other details in a digital database.
- Reminder Notes: Creating a list of miscellaneous notes or tasks.
- Recall: Easily retrieving saved information via search and a physical "spin dial" wheel that mimicked the action of a classic mechanical ROLODEX file.
- Autodial: Selected contact can called with a one-touch autodial feature (via a connected telephone landline).
The device featured a basic calculator and a QWERTY keyboard for data entry.
