Circa 1964 to Late 1970's
A self-contained breathing apparatus(SCBA) that marked a significant shift in respiratory protection by introducing the pressure-demand regulator. Originally manufactured by SCOTT AVIATION (now 3M Scott Fire & Safety).
NOTE: This device cannot be certified for its intended use, due to its vintage nature. It could however, be rigged to appear functional—providing either room air—or air provided by a small, concealed air bottle—please inquire.
Use Case Environments:
- Firefighting: Originally designed for structural firefighting to meet NFPA standards.
- IDLH Atmospheres: Used in "Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health" environments, including oxygen-deficient or toxic atmospheres.
- Industrial Applications: Suitable for hazmat operations, confined space entry, or tasks with uncharacterized chemical exposure.
