Standalone proximity card reader and keypad access control system. Unit includes a bi-color (RED/GREEN) LED indicator and a beeper to provide visual and auditory feedback during operation.

Operation:

User keys in a predetermined numeric/symbol code to cycle the device. This code can be programmed by us, or by the rental client (we will provide detailed instructions for this, or program the unit for you to your specifications). Operation is as follows:

• If the Transponder ID Number or keypad code is stored in memory, the latch relay is activated, unlocking the controlled door or gate and shunting any external alarms. A green light and a beep indicates that access is granted.

• If the Transponder ID Number or keypad code is not stored in memory, the door or gate remains locked and a red light and three rapid beeps indicate that access is denied. Otherwise, the LED is normally off.

Use Cases:

• Single-Door Access Control: Ideal for managing access to individual doors in offices, facilities, or residential buildings.

• Gate Control: Can be integrated to control electric strikes, magnetic locks, or gate operators.

• Restricted Areas: Provides secure entry for restricted zones where proximity cards or PINs are required.

• Enhanced Security Installations: When combined with the optional RKAR Auxiliary Reader, it offers higher security by locating the main unit on the secure side of the door and placing the auxiliary reader outside.

• Vandalism & Weather Protection: Weather-resistant design.

• User Capacity: Manages up to 600 users via proximity key tags or 5-7 digit PINs for keypad entry.
