Custom Modification:
This device has been modified to provide self-contained/simulated operation. Once power is on, the unit can be preset to determine which LED indicator illuminates after a card is passed through the reader-slot—RED (access denied) or GREEN (access granted).
- Any card (with or without a magnetic strip) may be used to cycle the device.
- Powered internally by alkaline batteries.
- 2-units are available.
Use Cases:
- Commercial Building Access: Controlling entry to office doors, main entrances after hours, and secure areas like server rooms.
- Industrial Security: Limiting access to warehouses, manufacturing floors, and storage cages.
- Apartment/Residential Complexes: Securing main building entrances, parking garages, and gyms.
Accessories Available Separately:
- If desired, a design appropriate, dummy keypad can be added to enhance the units apparent functionality and appearance.
