Description of Features

The SEA-6801 is a solid-state, under-dash mounted stereo 8-track player designed to play pre-recorded 8-track tape cartridges in a vehicle.

• Automatic Playback: The unit starts playing automatically when a cartridge is inserted.

• Volume: Adjusts the overall sound level.

• Tone: basic bass/treble adjustment.

• Balance: Adjusts the left/right speaker balance.

• Program Selection: To manually cycle through the four stereo programs (tracks) on the tape.

• Automatic Shut-off: The unit turns off when the tape cartridge is removed.

• Stereo Output: Providing two-channel audio output.

• Solid State Construction: The unit uses all solid-state components, typical of the transistor era.
