The most enduring design ever produced by the Sure Company, this microphone was originally introduced in the early 50's.
Widely used through the 1950s and 60s, this microphone is in production even today, albeit, in an updated form.
Famous broadcaster of the day, Drew Pearson, using the model 55. This image is from his appearance in the classic 1951 science fiction movie, THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL.
