• A high-end color video camera suitable for amateur use, learning institutions and law enforcement applications (video interviews and evidence gathering).

Key Features:

• Lens: Features a macro-capable f/1.4 8x power zoom lens (10-80mm focal length) with automatic iris and active autofocus, though manual focusing is also possible.

• Image Pickup: Utilizes a single 2/3″ High-band (5MHz) saticon tube with electrostatic focusing for improved picture quality and horizontal resolution better than 320 lines at the center.

• White Balance: Includes a continuous auto white balance function and offers two-position switch for daylight and tungsten lighting conditions with automatic adjustment.

• Special Functions: Comes equipped with a side-panel character generator for composing titles, a wide macro mechanism allowing recording distance as close as 4mm from the front of the lens, and an auto fade function for both video and audio.

• Viewfinder: Features a 1″ monochrome CRT electronic viewfinder, with an optional 1.5″ color CRT available. The viewfinder displays crucial information such as filter setting, white balance, exposure, focus indicator, recording time, battery charge warning, and tape counter.

• Audio: Equipped with a uni-directional electret condenser stereo microphone.

• Remote Control: Offers remote control capabilities allowing VCR recording functions to be controlled from the camera, and camera start/stop and zooming functions controllable via an optional Canon zoom remote control unit (not included).
