Description

Circa Early 1990's to Early 2000's

A custom movie prop manufactured by PROPOLOGY.ca featuring simulated functionality.

This panel operates on automatic operation logic: a momentary press of a single button sends the car to its only other destination, then the system awaits the next command. Numbered "floor selection" buttons are not necessary because there is only one other floor to go to at any given time.

Use Cases:

  • Residential Elevator: Personal mobility assistance between alternate floors.

  • Dumbwaiter or Freight Lift Control: Used as a two-stop freight elevator or dumbwaiter. The operator would use the "up" and "down" buttons to move the car between two levels (e.g., ground floor and basement). The large red "stop" button would serve as an immediate emergency cut-off, a crucial safety feature for this kind of equipment.

  • Restricted Access: Within a high-security environment, this simple panel can be placed inside a small, two-stop elevator car. The main security clearance (e.g., card reader or biometric scan) would be at the hallway door on each floor, with this simple panel only enabling movement after security protocols are met.

  • Machine Room Override Panel: A dedicated, restricted-access override panel located within an elevator machine room, allowing maintenance personnel to manually cycle the elevator car without needing the main building control system.

Included Accessories:

  • External DC Power Supply.
