Description
Circa Late 1990's to Early 2000's
A custom manufactured movie prop featuring simulated functionality. Designed to portray a single-use grenade that produces a massive sensory overload which will temporarily incapacitate a person. The primary effects are a combination of blinding light, deafening sound, and physical pressure.
This is a completely inert replica intended for on-screen motion picture use.
Use Cases:
Stun grenades are standard equipment for SWAT and military special operations units in high-stakes environments.
- Hostage Rescues: Teams deploy them to create a brief "window of opportunity" (approx. 2–5 seconds) to neutralize threats while ensuring the safety of hostages.
- High-Risk Warrants & Raids: Used during entries into fortified locations or drug raids to prevent suspects from destroying evidence or mounting an armed defense.
- Room Clearing & Breaching: Fired or thrown into a room immediately before entry to disorient occupants, reducing the risk of an ambush for the entering team.
- Crowd & Riot Control: Specifically designed variants are used to disperse violent crowds or manage prison riots by creating a momentary state of chaos that allows authorities to regain control.
NOTE: 2-Units available—each comes with 2-extra safety-pins.
