The KBD4000 is a full-function keyboard controller for Pelco MX4000 Genex Multiplexers and MX4000SVR Genex Multiplexer Servers. Its key functions include:
- Camera Control: It allows control over major camera functions such as pan/tilt, zoom, iris, and auxiliary devices (e.g., wipers).
- Joystick Control: A built-in 3-axis joystick provides smooth control for pan, tilt, and zoom features, including fixed and variable speed options.
- Preset and Pattern Control: It can set and call presets for specific camera positions and program or run camera movement patterns.
- Monitor Control: The keyboard can control main and spot monitors, enabling the display of single or multiple camera views (4, 9, or 16 images) and digital zoom features on the main monitor.
- Multiplexer and Server Interaction: It operates in both "Multiplexer Mode" (controlling up to 256 cameras connected to daisy-chained multiplexers) and "Multiplexer Server Mode" (controlling cameras through a server, allowing multiple keyboards).
