- It belongs to the first wave of affordable CCD cameras that made solid-state reliability accessible to a broader market, eventually making tube cameras obsolete.

- Lens Mount: C-mount lenses for different focal lengths and fields of view. Examples include specific Fujinon or Cosmicar lenses with different focal lengths and apertures, like a macro 12.5-75mm f/1.8 lens or a Cosmicar ES 12.5mm 1:1.4 lens.
- Mounting: 1/4-inch-20 threaded sockets located on top and below the camera body to accomodate common mounting brackets and tripod use.
- Illuminated Status Indicator: Front-facing status indicator (AC powered).
