Description
Circa Mid 1980's to Late 1990's
A custom movie prop manufactured by PROPOLOGY.ca featuring simulated functionality. Designed to look like an authentic security system monitoring station for commercial and institutional environments. Operational illuminating indicators (requires 12-volt DC power).
Use Cases:
- System Status Monitoring: The various red, yellow, and white indicator lights ("Critical System," "Major System," "Minor System," "Office Alarm Unit," etc.) provide a quick, at-a-glance status of multiple sub-systems.
- Alarm Management: Switches labeled "Audible Alert Disable" and "Alarm Transfer" provide operational control over how alarms are handled, allowing personnel to silence local horns or route the alert to a central monitoring station or emergency services.
- System Diagnostics/Testing: The "Lamp Test" switch allows an operator to verify that all indicator bulbs are functional.
- Power Distribution Oversight: Can be used to monitor the power status of critical infrastructure.
Use Environments:
- Commercial Office Buildings: In a building management office, monitoring fire alarms, security systems, and primary power distribution.
- Data Centers: Monitoring power redundancy (Critical/Major/Minor Power Plants) and environmental alarms.
- Institutional Facilities: Schools, hospitals, or government buildings where different wings or systems require centralized security and facility monitoring.
- Industrial Plants: Used in a control room to monitor safety systems, power distribution centers, and general facility alarms.
Included Accessories:
- 12-Volt DC Power Supply.
